Same old bickering, boring and stale to read....get off the forums if you hate the game so much. Pathetic group of people.

Either accept it for what it is, or move on. Simple.

I personally, though the concept footage looked impressive, lets just see how everything pans out before bickering like idiots again.

The only positive I can see is the cynism in it, had a similar feel as 24 to it.

Besides from that it's more silly effects showing games are more and more adapted to be played by idiots who can't think, skulls on top of the bad guys!!! There were so many graphic overlays explaining for the ******ed gamer it was pathetic.

Can't they at least give the option to turn all that crap off like in Deus Ex HR?

Well said, the basic consensus is that these so-called "hard-core" fans want the same game they played 8 years ago because according to them, it works so well for gaming to stay the same and avoid innovation *cough* Call of Duty *cough*

To be honest I thought that the gameplay looked bad. The attempts at drama came off as terribly ham fisted and the cinematic scripted gameplay looks like CoD. I especially hate the stupid X-ray vision thing (I hope we can turn that off).

Is it really necessary to have those icons over the heads of the enemies? Who ever is shooting at you are obviously the bad guys...besides its not like they're wearing camoflague and its broad daylight when this firefight starts.

Overall I wasn't impressed. What would've really impressed me is if they showcased a level that took place in a forest or a huge complex where these terrorists are and its a really open level and there are hostages. Then we could make up a plan and pick our loadout and stuff. You could also be able to chose a vareity of paths not only based on your weaponry but also the level design. The AI bad guys would patrol all over the place and be challenging and intelligent.

I keep an eye out for this one but right now its looks dumbed down and CoD-esque.

*I think that the cover system looks stupid since you character takes too long to get into cover. I'd much rather prefer a FPS POV and lean to this.

All of this is my opinion.

Plz don't release these games for pc, I really have given up on these franchises, since they started to take away the tactical FPS that made it so amazing.

I don't even care about the graphics, if you could just revamp raven shield or original ghost recon a little I would feel proud to pay 50$ for it. everything you are putting into these games is a shame to the pc community, I really don't want to buy a game, and not play it because it is very poorly made compared to the older games.

Sorry but the flame will continue on in these forums because the devs have totally taken the wrong direction with these games.

I can't figure out if you are using irony or not, but in case you don't know the original Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six games, what you described happens to be precisely the concept behind these games.

I would highly recommend you to get the best iteration of each franchises, namely the original game for the GR franchise, and Raven Shield for the R6 franchise.

After playing these games, there's no way you will ever tolerate the current crop of linear console shooters.

I know all about the R6 and GR games I've just never played them cause I don't think my Vista can take such old games. I do have OFP:CWC though.

I really wish they don't simplify the game too much. Simplification is fine when it comes to making controls less clunky and stuff but when it comes to a tactical shooter for consoles it should be challenging and moderately complex since there are barely any tac shooters on consoles anyway.

I've never seen anything like it...just like you pointed out, COD is ragged on and insulted because it is simply more of the same...I mean if you play the campaign of the very first COD, and then play MW3's campaign - they will largely be the same, with little changes here and there.

Is that what the R6 community want? a stale, beaten experience that just continues being regurgitated? just like COD then...

The way UBI approaches game design is to try something new each time, it must get pretty boring making the same game every time. Why don't people who don't like this, just get lost and play the old games that they love so dearly is beyond me.
