I've just spent the last two hours doing one big loop. I need medicine & had to go to the title of the thread. Now i've done this a dozen times BUT i can't get into the hut. Doesn't matter if i kill the guards or leave them be. The prob is i tried another mission but passed out & ended back in the church with the priest, being told to deliver the papers AGAIN!!!

Now i'm back at Pala all the guards are dead BUT what now???

I've had this problem and just had to re-do the mission a few times from an older save. It seemed to matter how I killed all the guards. Running a jeep with baddies off a cliff didn't count.

Its definitely a bug. Just try and kill all the guards, including any in vehicles around, near to the hut.

So what's the trick to this? I've killed everything around (animals included) and I can't get into the building..doors, windows, roof, nothing. Just popped my last pill it seems too.

I know this is an old thread but I may have found the answer and thought I'd post it for anyone still having this problem.

I had the same problem. I had just finished a Faction Mission and upon pressing "Escape", I found the same old line about how I needed to find another mission to do - but there was also a message about how I needed to find more medicine. And after some trouble I found the place I needed to go was on the South Western map.

Well, I got to a bus station and went there. Like I said, I just finished a mission and was low on ammo. So I went to the near-by ammo shop and got loaded up and headed for the yellow circle. I went in guns ablazin' and took everybody out. And I couldn't get into the house.

After repeated tries, I decided to try something different.

After using the bus station and arriving near the yellow circle, I just went straight to the medicine house. As it happened, I had a sniper rifle with me. I took out all the bad guys *from a distance*. They couldn't/didn't fire a shot at me. I believe there were only three. After that, I got the message that the house was open and I went right in.

Maybe the game wants you to snipe them. Maybe the game wants you to take them out without them getting off a shot at you. I don't know, but this worked for me.

Well that sucks. The entire malaria concept was a little unnecessary.

I reply here because its the first hit from the google search engine, and in order to help some people to get out of this mess.
Anyway this mission is probably glitchy but i think i found the solution.
First. The house has 2 doors. One at the front and one at the back of the house. When you first arrive at the house the front door has some ruble in front of it so you cant get close to it.
Second. What many people do is kill everyone, get the message that the Underground is unlocked and then try the backdoor to enter the house. That's wrong because the backdoor is the wrong one.
USE SOME EXPLOSIVES to clear the ruble from the front door and then try it to enter the house.
At least that's the way it worked for me.
