well now its sunday and it still wont load. dvd version, no mods vista 64.

Bought the game on Wednesday and it worked fine for three days. Then after playing for about a hour on Saturday, it now freezes at the main screen while trying to 'Sycronizing...'. I reinstalled Three times. I redownloaded the thing. I went so far as to wipe out the ubi launch deal as well and did a fresh install. Still nothing. Ubi will not return my emails.

I can't believe I bought this game. It's just that I have loved SH3 and SH4, even with the bugs and imperfections. This makes me wish I had pirated a copy instead.

Well here I am 2 years after the last post and it seems the thread in the last post has been deleted.
After doing a lot of research I have yet to find a solution.

I bought SH5 through Steam back in 2011 and was playing for a while before my computer was killed after a lightning strike. After building a new pc, installing Steam and SH5 again the game would crash after synchronizing my saved games. Even telling the uplay system not to sync my saves it still tries. I also tried unplugging my self from the network and the same problem exists.

I'm at my wits end here. Any help would be much appreciated.
