Thread: Access violation/stack error on Vista SP1 32 bit/laptop | Forums

    Hi, I've innstalled EoA without any errormessages. When I try to start the game I get the message:

    I've tried to follow the steps posted earlier, but with no luck. Does anybody know how to fix this? Eva

    Hi again. I refer to an earlier soultion where the game were innstalled om XP and copied from C:\Documents and s.......\application data\Myst.. onto folder(on Vista SP1) C:\Users\username\appdata\local\Myst.. but with no luck. Same errormessage. I've reinnstalled to Vista SP2 with a hope that SP2 would fix this, but, again same errormessage. Do you have any good tip on how this might work? Eva

    Hello, I have the same problem as you evacz. I've been busy for more than two hours to get the problem solved, but no succes.
    Is there someone who can help solve this problem?

    Download this zip file patch from Cyan. It comes with a Readme.txt file with/for instructions.

    Good luck with your drawings on the slates.

    Those Barho can be very hard to please at times.

    If they scratch their head, it means they do not like or do not understand a drawing.
