I have a new ps3 160 gb that i bought just before the launch of rocksmith... before anybody goes and says it's an old ps3 causing the problem!

and maybe you don't have a problem when you're only level 7 but the further you get in the game the more problems you will have... it crashes on me everytime i play it now and i'm level 10

Its been happening everywhere. There's already a thread on how to prevent certain crashes, if those don't help....well.. You'll just have to wait like the rest of us ps3 users for the holy patch to come out. Or, you can go xbox

I'm level 10 as well....this game is not garbage, it actually works pretty well.
Ps3 freezes just as much as it freezes with other games,...so stop the bashing, and if you don't have anything constructing to say just refrain yourself from posting.

I have an old PS3 i have been able to stop any crashing by simply not playing events with more than 4 songs.and if that doesnt fix the crashing problem then just play each song one at a time if you really want to learn these songs this will work.

i have been playing the Megadeth songs since the release i have not had one problem with it NOT ONE.of course i load the songs up one at a time if you cant figure this out by now then you shouldnt play this game

I've had this game since the first day it came out on PS3 and it's only crashed one time. I think it was the Tom Petty song IIRC. I usually play 7 or 8 song sets.

I'm not sure what level I'm on, as I don't pay too much attention to that, but I'm around 10 millions RSPs, if that helps.

totally LOVE this game.. bought it the day it came out.. the only issue i have had is the tom petty encore one.. Easily fixed and kept going almost lvl 10 now...

Rocksmith on PS3 is awesome. I have no problems. Maybe you should go back to wow?

PAXtone, there are threads here that will help you minimize the crashes you are seeing.

Rocksmith has mentioned they're working on fixes to this issue, so hold tight.

Until then there are things you can do to minimize crashing. This stuff is related to the memory being used so venue size, and number of songs in the setlist, both contribute to the problem. Number of fans does not.

As CrispyFunk says you can remove songs from your setlists to 4 songs which will greatly reduce the incidences of crashes. You can keep playing individual songs and should not run into issues doing that.

Games ship with crashing issues all the time, a patch is coming.
