    has anyone saved the data the holds the saved career missions then uninstalled the game then renistalled the game then replaced the data folder with the old careers so you dont have to start over after playing many week as i have...thanks,,,as i wrote before i am having prob with the new patch??

    aredfire,

    I just installed patch 1.4 after completely re-installing SH3. This dit not affect my career progress. These data are written (as far as i know) in your 'my documents' folder, independant of the location of your SH3 installation. Thus a 'additional' data save and restore is not necessary. It is vital nonetheless that you are in port before performing this update!
