Attention: Possible Spoilers for some of you

I have compiled some of the problems that I have encountered during my game play. I do understand some of us here too had the same problems that I may have faced!

I have some answers as to WHY this game was done so awfully, and to those who takes my comment to heart, my sincere appologies.
My 2 cents of comment!:
MADE IN CHINA!

First things first, before I go on to put on the problems in point form, pls note that this
comments below is not going to solve your issues if you do not meet the min or required
specs to run the game. Pls take note that your directx will need to be updated too if you
have not done so. At this point of writing this comments, it is now with patch 1.02. So if
you do not have all the required stuff, please go to the necessary sites to have them updated.

I am going to number my problems below so that it is easier for everyone to get back to me if need be.

1) Saved games are placed here (Application Data folder is hidden-unhide it)
C:\Do***ents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ubisoft\SplinterCell4\Save\Offline

2) All "MUST CHECK" errors, please make sure you meet or exceed the min specs of the game and update all necessary drivers if you have not. Directx too.


3)"C:\Program Files\ubisoft\Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent\SCDA-Offline\System\SplinterCell4.exe" -ll
This DID NOT SOLVE any of my **MUST CHECK** issues, so please dont bother!

4) ***Can't spawn Sam, please check if there is enough space in EchelonPlayerStart***
This is dodgy, and I got this 2x in my whole game play. For do not know what reasons,
the game will crash out and have your PC reboot, and when you come back to Windows and reload the game, it will give you that error. I have tried and read many forums with this but to no avail. Even the boys in UBI Support CANNOT or DONT know how hot solve my problems. At the end, my own remedy is to:
a) un-install the game, please make sure you DO NOT delete your saved games or have your saved
games backup somewhere if you are afraid that you may have the butter fingers to just press YES to delete your saved game.
b) reboot your pc
c) re-install the game
d) run the game again

5) Spoiled or unable to load a saved game, you may have some problems with your profile.sav file.
Remedy: Go to your saved game folder, create another folder of your wish, copy the just the save b4 the one that give you problem. Start the game, go to your profile folder, and have the game load from this new profile.

6) Loading a game and it goes to Mission Failed screen (happen in Kinshasa and the NYC Harbour Bonus Level)
Reason: The game takes a good time to load, and at the background, the game may have already started, this you may experience when your monitor flickers. This occurs on the second or third loading screen (after the picture screen)
depending which level you are.
Remedy: In the loading screen, go to Options, choose custom on your display settings and set all to OFF or LOW. Also
go to the screen settings and select 640x480 if need be. At the load screen, choose one saved game before the save that give you Mission Failed.
If you are trying to load the Bonus level and having that problem, your only way is to drop the settings like I have given above and then load the saved game where Sam has to disable to bomb in JBA HQ. Hopefully you have saved the game right at end of the mission else you may have to play a bit of that before you can get to load the NYC Bonus mission. When the game
loads, quickly climb up the ladder b4 the boat starts moving. Reason you get the Mission Failed screen is because as the game already loaded in the background where you are still seeing the second loading screen, the boat actually has left the pier leaving you there with the Mission Failed screen.

7) I have a fair bit of Saved game, but all in HARD mode. If you need another mode, I can try to play and then sent any.

This should solve some of your many problems. Hopefully, not too may of it! IF there are any UBISOFT members reading this, you
