Last I heard, it is still being tested. I doubt it will be too much longer. If I remember correctly, one of the devs mentioned plans to make a completely seperate SDK for EiB.

The SDK is coming out shortly aka. soon. Making a good SDK takes time and a conserted effort from developers and beta testers alike. From what I've heard, Gearbox is clearing up a couple of issues on their end and then its nearly ready for launch.
Again, making a good SDK takes time. They could have made a bad one and had it out a month ago. Depends on what you're looking for.
