There's no way of telling since the video doesn't show you the gun in any discernable manner. But there's little reason to believe that it's anything other than Sam's standard sidearm, the FN Five Seven, probably with silencer.

No its definately not the Five-seveN. If you watch the video closely the icon for his weapon changes. And it looks totally diffrent.

It seems to be some sort of shocker pistol - similar to the one we know from the Versus mode but more compact. It's obviously emitting an EMP which not only seems to have an effect on electronic devices but on NPC's as well.

Is it airfol ? As you can see, the enemy one the last seconds is choking, wtf ?
i say it's a tazer. see the guy who goes down the stairs? sam shoots him at the first time and the guy gets stunned and only at the second shot he falls down... but, hey, what do i know?
I dont think that it's an airfoil. It looks like a completely diffrent weapon that the Five-SeveN (possibly an exclusive weapon for JBA). And I don't know if that guy was choking. It looked to me as if he was like holding his face as if the thing that hit him was acid, (but I know thats not what it is.)
This obviously isn't the final build of the game, since the UI is different from the minimal design we've seen. So what's to say this image wasn't just a placeholder?
