i fined that a bit hard to believe since this was never in fact had been proven (but they did have jet fighters as early as 1937) they could have won the war with that alone at the point.
actually it has been proven. Panthers have been found with these devices on them. Ive seen refurbished panthers with the device on them in vids.
Actually, the Germans had many technological developments that could have won the war, but a lot of them either came too late, or were under funded and did not reach the production needed for effective field use.
In fact, the Russians also had a lot of really high-tech developments at that time too that also found the same fate. In the end, sheer numbers and determination won the war...

Im well aware of that, but nightvision is something that some armies weren't using until the 1980's.
Look at the instrument mounted on the top of the turret in the uppermost pic of that page. Is it just me or does it look really pixelated around the instrument? Something does not look right there...
