A fresh subject might be nice. Do we really need another U-Boat sim so soon? How about something new like British, Italian, Russian or Japanese subs?

It would be perfect!!!!! But first you need to reanimate SH5 Battle of the Atlantic!!!

I voted Yes! yes i understand that a lot of you are pi**ed that the gme has gone down the route of arcade then simulation, yes i agree the online protection is flooded, yes i agree that the game seems to have lost is strategy element. However, if UBIsoft can pull the game back to a SH3 with SH5 graphics my word what a game that would be. I do also think that we forget just how many man hours and the level of difficultly it takes to create a game of this standard. I guess what i am saying is "yes please Ubisoft". But, please try and listen to community when making SH6.

Some ideas (that seem to have been included in the new ghost recon series);

1. Online only game, camping driven. Where one sub cannot win the war! But, instead interact with an ever changing sea war.
2. The ability to customise your sub like you can with your gun in ghost recon (not just a new radar)
3.Better Crew management
4. The ability to interact with other (online subs)
5. The ability do detailed reports to other players
6. Increased online wolf pack interaction
7. Maybe the abilty to be the British!
8. SH5 feel with a SH3 engine and strategy
9. The ability to call or Ai help - If you are being dived bombed by fighters close to port where are your fighters



Anyway, just some thoughts!

Need to have the playable destroyers back. Add Japan to the war with Germans and USA. Japan had a sub with planes. Would be nice to fly them. Need on sea refueling and reloading. Need also to rescue downed pilots

Would I buy SH6? Well I would have to say NO until I have read the reviews on the game itself and judging by the way the company has gone down hill with regards to game development and general stability upon release my answer would still be NO months after "release".

The silent hunter series has turned from being a simulation game to catering for the button mashing short attention span players of today with it's cartoonist graphics, unrealistic sounds (English/American speaking German U-boat crews? lol), ******ed AI...etc etc etc as previously mentioned by other users Ubi has lost there way...I'm afraid they have been "EA'd" and are now spamming out title releases barely capable of being called beta's and we as the customer have to deal with getting the shaft time after time while relying on the highly skilled modders to pick up the slack as it seems that Ubi no longer employs skilled workers to finish their games, instead the go for the cheaper option of giving the job to the monkeys from the local zoo.

In short all I would like to say is: Ubi get your head out your backside, stop screwing your customers and make a decent game in this title series ffs!

i would like to see an updated version of sh4 perhaps with optional multiplayer subs, another idea i had. is the makers of the silent hunter series should consider making a full length computer animated movie of some famous ww2 sub story, i think if it was catchy enough it would be a massive boost to game sales, Kids and adults alike are getting sick of all the animated movies about animals in different scenarios, ants, bugs, bees, zoo animals. Take a true story with action,suspence, heroism, patriotism, doctor it up a little, and throw it out there, it would be the biggest hit in the last 15yrs guarranteed!! and then these sub sims would finally get the exposure all their hard work derserves!!

I voted NO! I've lost all respect for Ubisoft and do not expect to buy any games from that company any more! They are worse than EA! They ****et with all SH fans! And especially when they stopped to patch the game! It is really disgusting. And now they make a Silent hunter browser game with ****ty graphics (and I believe) That you can buy to become better! if they want any hope that I will buy a game from them again, then they better take work clothes on and get started patching SH5 so it can be played. My biggest wish is that another company buys Silent Hunter series and gives us the fans and the game the honor and respect it deserves!
