Thread: FINALLY, Got a video card that runs it perfect! | Forums

    I put in the BFG Technologies nVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 256 MB Graphics Card - 350 MHz - 2048 x 1536 Pixels - DDR - 256 MB - PCI.
    I clicked on the program and it started up and ran smooth as silk and I havent found a glich yet....

    I'm running a standard Dell Dimension 3000
    Intelâ® Pentiumâ® 4 Processor (3.00GHz, 800 FSB)
    Microsoftâ® Windowsâ® XP Home Edition
    512MB Dual Channel DDR SDRAM at 400MHz
    80GB2 Ultra ATA/100 7200RPM Hard Drive
    Single Drive: 48X CD
    17 inch E173FP Analog Flat Panel

    Why did you buy a PCI card and not a AGP card when AGP slots are faster than PCI?

    There's no need to double-post. Most likely he had an onboard AGP card in which case you don't have an AGP slot available.
