Stuck at end of chapter six | Forums

Can I get some help here?
I had just killed Robert in Arsuf, and the scene with Richard was ended. Before the game could properly save and move to the next scene, I "accidentally" shut off my Xbox. Now when I tell the game to continue from last save, it starts me off at the beginning of Arsuf, but all my objectives are complete and the level is empty. the game cannot seem to progress. Is there a way to rescue my progress, or do I need to restart the entire game?
"Replaying" the previous chapter doesn't work, as it will not carry into the next chapter when it's complete.

I had this too, and made an account here just to help people with this.

Take out all controllers but your primary. Go back to Desmond and then back to Altair.

When you get back, you should have no "Double Glitch."

You might still fall through the floor, so just hug the wall to the right after you kill the archers.

No, no, it's not the "double Altair" glitch.

There's just one Altair, and I can go anywhere on the level, there's just nothing to do and the game won't progress. I know what went wrong, sort of, but I just want to know if there's a way to fix it, or if I have to restart the whole ****ing game.

EXACT same thing happened to me, I've tried playing a previous memory block in hopes to be allowed to restart Memory Block 6, but to no avail.

Yeah same thing here.. although restarting is not an option.

Dude, same issue here. Did you do all the investigating in the real world?

I had this happen to me as well, i killed the guy,and it went through the little cinematic thing, and then it said "saving" and when i loaded it up, i was still stuck on the map, only everyone was dead. such a disappointment for so close to the end, i REALLY don't want to have to replay the game, only to risk this happening again.
