Thread: What the world would be like after WW3. | Forums

  1. #1
I was just browsing the forums and reading about all the people that are pushing for their side, guys like mellow and some others and wondering if push came to shove which side people would really want to win the war. Given what we know from World History and the ambitions of nations here's what I think would happen if:

The United States of America won:
I'm going to assume that the President prior to David Becerra in the game was a Democratic Candidate which damaged America economically and resulted in severe funding cuts similar to Obama's plans to cut America's Future Combat Systems leading to America falling behind Europe. America would capture both Paris and Moscow, re-finance and aid in rebuilding all of mainland Europe and parts of Russia. To prevent another World War, America would ideally take control of all conquered territories and establish all the former nations of the European Federation as States in the United States of America. So rather than 50 stars on the U.S. Flag we'd have the existing 50 states, plus continental Europe. What would result is a new era of Global Peace and Stability much like when Rome was at it's height. Peace, Stability, Freedoms, Liberties, to everyone living in these areas. War would be nearly obsolete except in the Third World Countries, scientific progress would be expanded and humanity would move on like never before.

    If the European Federation won:
Europe would most likely help rebuild the U.S. to re-establish a major trading partner and support the election of a new President who was more say "co-operative" to the European way of thinking rather than a President who looked out more for American interests. Europe would more than likely secure any remaining Fossil Fuel Reserves that Russia had to insure they had an uninterrupted supply. As we speak right now Russia has finally settled a deal with Ukraine to get oil to mainland Europe. Europe would no longer want to be blackmailed and dictated to by Russia just to get their oil.

    If the Russians won:
I would imagine if the Russians won, the Red Army would march across continental Europe conquering it for Mother Russia, exactly like they did at the end of World War 2, establishing puppet governments, left-wing dictatorships that answered only to the Kremlin. There'd be secret police to root out and "disappear" dissidents. Everyone would be distrustful of eachother, there'd be no personal freedoms and Russia would lead the world for a very long time. America would never be the same again. It'd more than likely be like a new dark ages.

To be realistic now, Obama as President is a really big mistake. Putin before he ended his term as President committed Russia to the biggest Arms build-up since the Cold-War, new planes, new tanks, new equipment. He's test fired nuclear missiles from submarines, land based missiles. Russia has resumed patrols by Tukulov bombers (they carry 20 kiloton nuclear bombs), these bombers are being intercepted off the coast of Alaska (by F22s), the United Kingdom and Japan (by F15cs). Imagine 20,000,000 dead in Los Angeles, London or Tokyo?

Here's a picture of a bomber being escorted away from U.S. Airspace by an F22.

Before the election right after Russia invaded Georgia when asked what should happen:

John McCain said: Russia needs to leave now, they've invaded a foreign country.

Barack Obama said: Both sides are to blame, the U.N. needs to send peacekeepers to the region.

Obama is a genius, U.N. peacekeepers requiring authorisation by the U.N. Security Council WHICH Russia would just VETO anyway.

Here's hoping there isn't an actual WW3 coming.

I love it how you are completely biased for America.

"What would result is a new era of Global Peace and Stability much like when Rome was at it's height. Peace, Stability, Freedoms, Liberties, to everyone living in these areas. War would be nearly obsolete except in the Third World Countries, scientific progress would be expanded and humanity would move on like never before."

Are you kidding me? You must be our stereotypical American. The vast majority of what you just said, but rather completely opinionated information that you said to either sound smart, or what you would like to see happen in your mind.

"Imagine 20,000,000 dead in Los Angeles, London or Tokyo?"

Los Angeles has a population of around 4,000,000, London nearly has 8,000,000, and Tokyo has about 12,500,000.

"Russia has resumed patrols by Tukulov bombers (they carry 20 kiloton nuclear bombs), these bombers are being intercepted off the coast of Alaska (by F22s), the United Kingdom and Japan (by F15cs)."

Russia has not resumed 'patrols' for their bombers, it is part of Russian pilot training. They use the region between Alaska and Russia because it is a region known for its complicated weather conditions and strong geomagnetic fluctuations. It is important to note that the Russian bombers have never crossed into American airspace, they always remain in the neutral zones. If you want to believe that the Russian pilots are training for something, think again. The average flying time for Russian long-range pilots is about 10 hours a year. American and NATO pilots average between 180 and 280 hours. However, regardless of the reason, if the Russians are flying off the coast of Alaska, the Americans and Canadians have moved a small handful of their fighters to airbases along the arctic coast. That picture is not of a Russian bomber being escorted out of American airspace, but rather an American fighter flying beside a Russian bomber in neutral territory. If a Russian bomber decided to fly into American airspace and did not back away after being requested to do so via radio, it would be shot down before it could even reach land.

I have nothing against looking into abstract theories, but please look through the surface and learn a little more next time .

After WW2, the United States enacted the Marshall Plan and with the aid of the United Kingdom quickly rebuilt Western Europe. Which is half the reason Europe is the way it is today. On the Eastern Front the Red Army of the USSR simply marched straight through removing / killing any "democratic" governments and establishing self-serving "communist" sympathizers as satellite states. Heck, most of Eastern Europe are former Soviet States fearing a resurgent Russia right now. See what happened to Georgia? Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia are pretty worried.

Do you remember that Anti-Missile base that the U.S. was trying to establish in Poland. The Polish people in a referendum voted 85% against the base, after the August invasion of Georgia by the Russians public opinion changed to 90% in favour of the U.S. base.

russian bombers fly in neutral airspace. they are intercepted as a precaution, but they rarely act in a aggressive fashion. the machine gun are even turned upwards as to not provoke the NATO fighters. and it's neutral airspace, anyone can fly there.

as for russians winning the war, i don't think it's at all fair to compare the soviet union of the 40s to the modern day russians. i don't compare the racist policies of the US in the 40s to the modern day US.

The Iron Curtain of former Soviet Union never faded. Ukraine, Georgia, Lithuainia,Latvia, and pretty much all the former Soviet republics have had their political affairs meddled in by Russia, and the Russian government still refers to these countries, specifically Ukraine as its "little brothers" I have friends and relatives in Ukraine, Russia, and Esonia who are scared to death of a resurgent USSR. The recent pipeline incident with Ukraine, the attempted assassination of the Ukrainian president by russian nationalists and the support of a Russian-friendly candidate, and it straight up threatned Poland about the missles and Ukraine about NATO membership. Not to say it's going to happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if s**t went down in the next decade or two.

WW3 would never look like this anyway.
US fighting EU. that would be western world "in-fighting"
not even Sara Palin would be stupid enough to attack EU (and she is stupid/dangerous as an republican can be)

a new world war would most likley be EU,US against a (russian, china alliance) or/and a (United Muslim State (middle east/ the old ottaman emipre))

and then for our sake we would like to see the western world win. but then again democratic countries never have as strong armies as "dictorship states".

In real life, a war between Russia and the US wouldn't even be a real war. The US has 11 supercarriers. Russia has 1. Enough said.

I like how if Europe or Russia wins, they become evil dictators over their conquered lands while if America wins, everything turns into f***ing happy land with rainbows and ice cream with sprinkles for everyone.
