I bought an wireless adapter for my PC and a wireless 360 controller to play with R6 Vegas 2, and the controller installed correctly and works with all other games, but when I go into the options for vegas 2 and try to turn of the 'use 360 controller' option, it will not switch to on.
So far Ubisoft support has been totally useless

You can't use a wireless XBox 360 controller on a PC.
You have to use a wired XBox 360 Controller.
I've been there, done that with Ver 1 when I was still playing on a PC instead of an XBox 360, so I know that a wreless conroller did NOT work in Ver 1.
I have the wireless gaming receiver by microsoft hooked up to my PC though.
The wireless controller works for all other games i have, other than R6V 2
I have the same problem as jg_guy, i bought yesterday a wireless gaming receiver by microsoft. All games that can play with the wireless xbox 360 controller are working great, also the vibration is working with the other games. Now when i try to use the controller in Rainbow six vegas 2 my game doesnt reconize it at all. It wont switch on.

r u running vista or xp?
it might only b a problem with vista (im running 64-bit home premium)
and id go to their support page and submit a question to them on this.
They prolly wont help us, but the more people they hear complain about this the more likely they are to really fix it
I am running Vista (64-bit), but i don't think that is a problem. Because the game runs fine and has vista support. Also the wireless controller is working great on vista. It's a problem by ubisoft.
yup same problem try complaning about it in the patch forum hopefully some one will see it work it out and fix it fot the next patch
I'm passing the info back and hopefully will be able to find something out, can't promise anything but I'll see what I can do
