maybe evrything dies, baby, that's a fact
But maybe evrything that dies someday comes back

now if i had to live forever with my memory intact that would be such a torture at anhedonia

now why peoples so obsessed with living forever that they create delusions for it for which they will kill

im not afraid of death what really scares me is not dying forever, etrnal boredom, heel not many years ago i could have fun with an empty can, now its dificult to find things that entertain me so i dont want to think 30 years from now...

    catholics promise eternal life
    jewish promise eternal life
    muslim promise eternal life
budist promise eternal life after scaping the wheel
now bruce springteens promises death as fact which is so calmly for me and maybe who knows afterwards

but according to him its a fact i wont get bored for eternity, death will avoid it

bruce springteen like katy perry are modern preachers imo

Christians, Jews, and Muslims don't promise "eternal life." They promise that, if you're good, when you die your soul gets to go to an invisible magic skyland in which you feel really happy because you're near God. And if you're bad, then your soul goes into a lake of fire in which it will be tortured forever and ever because God loves you (well, not the Jews so much. They're not big on the whole "hell" idea.)

Buddhists don't promise anything of the sort. The exact belief depends upon the sect (there are Buddhist hells, for example, but mostly in the east Asian varieties.) But the point of reincarnation in Buddhism isn't to achieve "eternal life" or "go to heaven." You have it completely backwards. Enlightenment simply brings a stop to the cycle--you die and stay dead because you have nothing left to do. There's no eternal life, magic invisible sky castle, or anything else. There's simply no point to continued existence because you've already done what you're supposed to do.

And if I were you'd I'd stop reading into Springsteen... and especially Perry. Neither one of them are keepers of esoteric knowledge. They're keepers of large pockets that empty as fast as they can fill them.

    No.
You should stop ascribing mystical virtue to people who perform music for the express purpose of amassing wealth.

Katy Perry has no insight into anything except how to use Autotune to get rich.

I'd be willing to bet money that you have that wrong.

I'm sure the law is something along the lines of, "air traffic controllers and firemen cannot listen to music while on duty" and you've taken it to mean that the Thought Police are monitoring everyone in Spain.

Well, I'd say Springsteen's lyrics contain a lot stuff about life that everybody can identify with.
Perry's...well, maybe not quite that much

    BTW: Springsteen ftw

Just to think that there are millons of people who believe what people say....
They call it democracy, religion, anarchy, communism, and the pimps, bimbos and bozos on 'television'

I call it self destructive, self pity.. which has no place in my life.

This may sound a bit gay but for some reason at 22 and a 1/2 I'm bored of the student scene. It's full of rampant narcissism, it's a blur of drugs and alcoholism, chronic nihilism and casual friendships/relationships that are merely transient.

I don't know, I'd quite like a job so I can start saving to buy a nice little victorian redbrick over in Jericho by the river. Find a nice girl and have a couple of brats.

If that doesn't work I'm just going to move abroad, somewhere warm with surf and mountain biking. No one has any aspirations anymore.
