Okay, this puppy is ready for the big time. I'm going to use it, for this weeks challenge, at least that is the plan.

I heard they's a man there pays folks money to sing into a can.

I know I enjoy playing my guitar alot more after some small customizations. I cannot imagine the joy of playing an instrument you built from scratch. Awesome guitar RCole.

Seconded. That guitar is gorgeous. I wish I had the skill to build guitars like that. Very jealous

Words fail me. I pretty much have to hire somebody to change a lightbulb.
You skilled types make me sick - I really hope you have a really high golf handicap

Did you keep track of how long it took?

Very cool, rcole. I wish I had the patience, motivation, and skill for something like that. If I started something like that it would probably sit unfinished in the garage for a couple years with all my other half-done projects.

Not outside of the start and end date of the thread. I don't even have a written plan or list. I got started by reading build threads, just like the one I did. I've done a few, so I knew if I did a little bit each week, I'd get there. Now, I want to move up to carved tops and set necks, but that will add unknowns, and I didn't need that in the challenge.

Oh, and my golf handicap is 9. I got crushed by a bunch of sand-baggers (people whose handicap is way higher than it should be) this last weekend, so I wish my handicap was higher. I shot a 78, which gave me a net 69, but I was in the last column, with a bunch of 58s in the top. I got my priorities backwards, as I get embarrassed to hand in the high golf scores.

9's great. I was at 12 when I hung up the clubs so now I feel even worse lol.
Maybe someday I'll get to take them out again but I can't see it any time soon. We call the sandbaggers 'bandits' over here. There's a lot of 'em about!
