Thread: HAWX 2 PC online? | Forums

  1. #1
Been trying to get online and play some matches but I can't join any games. I get the 'This game is no longer available' message after about 10-15 seconds of connecting. I have disabled firewalls and set up DMZ so it is not that.

Anyone else having this problem, or know a way to fix it?

Oh and if anyone wants to (hopefully) play, add me in game. Same username as here!

Managed to join a game, only to be booted off after a few seconds..

I see a handful of games with people in them, and the leadersboards are not empty so I'm assuming others can actually play it online. I have tried using different connections and tunneling my traffic but nothing works.

Starting to consider returning my game

Same here... try joining the same game a few times, sometimes it works. You can also host a game, I tried and one player joined.

So many people are having so many different issues with the game...

I wouldn't expect it to get fixed anytime soon, but I could be wrong as I haven't had much experience with UBISOFT etc

I've tried around 40 different sessions since installed the game, and i managed to actually get into 2. And I usually don't see more than 3 sessions in the lobby. It's a shame as the multi player can be lots of fun.

My guess is that the problems are because of the Ubi servers then, not being able to handle and forward requests. Not sure how they work, but after all it is Ubi..

Returning my copy tomorrow, deeply disappointed.. Enjoyed HAWX 1 multiplayer for many many hours.

I've used Uplay on other games (wings of prey) and it is awful. Sadly I didn't spot the Uplay icon when I got the game -_-

Truth is, only a handful of people can actually play the game. It hasn't been released on Steam, most people are only getting "This is your game download." text files, and everyone else just plain can't run the .exe. As soon as it's released on Steam, you'll find me online. Of course, that's assuming it is released, and it actually runs...

Haha The game itself is pretty cool. I guess it's not a proper sequel tho, but the SP story mode was ok.

The problem is not that there are too few people online, but rather that it is impossible to join games. Could be related to the Steam-issues I guess, but only time will tell..
