    I just purchased the original Splinter Cell PC game. I am a total "newbie" at this & need some help:

    How do you get out of the first scene with the fire in the building? I always die at the stairwell. :-(

    My memory may be wrong, but you're not supposed to go down the stairwell. You're supposed to grab onto a pipe and shimmy across a gap.
