It`s called FSAutoStart and can be found at

What it does is let you tell it what processes and other programs you want switched off before playing your game of choice. And even though the name suggests it is made for MS Flight Sim, it works just as good with IL2/PF.

Once configured, you press start, all desired is shut down, it then procedes to defragment your RAM and starts the game.

Then when you`re through playing, everything you turned off is started again. Of course this requires the program to be running in the background, but it`s a good tradeoff.

Does this program work when playing PF through Hyperlobby? I haven't dowloaded this yet but from what I've read this program will launch PF and defrag your memory. When playing in PF in hyperlobby the game is launched from HL. Will this method still defrag the memory and shut down services?

I use FSAuto start to start HyperLobby, and to ensure any support programs are running ... TeamSpeak and TrackIR.

I use HyperLobby to launch PF as usual.

I must be doing something wrong, besides getting aggrivated.

I set everything up made sure that I set the right path to HL and all, and when I hit start, It asks me if I wanna close the window thing, I say yes. after that a dos window pops up then disappears. then nothing. not a **** thing. I tried everything. wtf am i doing wrong here? I am gonna kick the dog if I go on for too much longer. Ok maybe not, since i dont have a dog.

can you tell I am fustrated. I used the old fs suto start just fine, but this one is different.



EDIT: NM, I figured it out. I guess its the gotta go over to the inlaws stress kickin in.
