My First Published Map: Death Valley [X360] | Forums

Hi all, this is me Killa and I had published my first map about I'd say a week or two ago. It's called Death Valley, it's a small map and due to the limitation of memory I couldn't give it more detail (it has detail, but if the memory limit was higher it would be better).

Basically, it pits you in a small valley and since it's small I hope there will be a lot of dying. It has been a long site of battle and due to the two big factions fighting (APR and UFLL) the economy in this area is dead: it has overgrown in certain part, most buildings are abandoned and everything is pretty much trashed. However there is one thing still left in this dreaded valley, war.

APR Base:

The APR Base is located on a fishing deck above the lake. It contains 2 boats at the dock, however these boats are sort of for looks and for your fun. At the APR Base there is a industrial garage which contains two trucks.

UFLL Base:

The UFLL Base is a more prosperous area which instead of the APR Base, is on land. Two trucks can be located at the base. The UFLL's base area instead is more smaller but provides a bit more firepower and much more cover.

Another feature in the map is the tower, this tower has a bridge but has one ladder up and one ladder (the same ladder). This ladder can be found from a path which is located on the slope that centers the two bases.

Other than that, I hope you enjoy my map. This is my first published map (I have made others but this is the only published one). I will allow anyone to host my map just leave my signature on it. I am open to any comments (suggestions, complaints, compliments, etc.) Your feedback is important. Enjoy playing Death Valley!

(If you are unfamiliar to Far Cry 2, just go to Map Community > Download New Maps > Search for Maps > Type: Death Valley and then tadah, you have my map!)

I apologize for not putting my name yesterday when I put this, I wasn't aware that there was a bunch of maps named Death Valley. Just search for author then type iiHaveAProblem

When posting maps its best to include pics. Not sure how hard it is on console but most ppl wont spend the time reading and downloading unless it looks semi decent from the pictures.

I would like to include pics but I have no idea how on consoles.

Use a digital camera w/ no flash (and tripod if you can) and upload to Photobucket.com (free photo storage). Then you can right click to see properties and copy the url address to he post pic option in your thread.
