Ran across another suggestion here on the tech support forum - I reduced my pre-load from 100km down to the min (20km) and that *seems* to have eliminated my hard lockups after missions.
Still a ton of slowdown around smoke and such, but we're gettin there.
No luck with TrackIR. I'm running v3.01 of their software and can't get to their site to try 3.03 yet. Only the Crotch Cam for now. [img]/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif[/img]
The game looks great though. Graphics are slicker (for me) than the demo, so that's nice to see. Just looks like a whole bucket of teething problems to get through and then we'll be up and runnin.
