Hey everyone. I've been talking to a few people and scouring a few sites for some maps. I know Doc / Slugworth don't wish to partake in another pack, but it would be rather easy to pull some new maps together and create the Unnoficial Community Mappack #3. I looked the other day and there were some very high quality maps just sitting around, some of which I think would be great to have on rotations. I know a few people have mentioned they had new maps (destroyer). I know I have a few maps, as does JCD. So there are at least 3 people with maps available + those I've seen of random mappers who I don't know. It wouldn't be that difficult if anyone's down to pitch in. The definitive FarCry map pack is yet to be released, but is scheduled for release middle of this month.

Sounds good. New maps will be a nice boost for FC right now. I would love to participate in the mappack. I have 2 maps ready right now and depending on timeframe for release I might have 1-3 more.

I would like to submit my newest map: mp_IHateUrbanwar

Its based on some obscure floating city with broken cars but no roads, lots of crates and cargo, and no houses anywhere but Urban anyhow... but hey at least the colors match (youre welcome) and you dont have to walk far!

lol :P I wish I had something other than dialup.. I dont have any more maps for FarCry itself, but im still using sandbox for 'other' projects..

JCD have you mastered 3dsmax yet? if so your services are needed.

Peering through the massive hailstorm of dung here I believe that I am deriving that we have not one but 2 more map packs on the way, one of which will be strictly X's maps?
