The log seems almost identical to the one posted by trena98. Unfortunately there's no real indication of what's causing it to disconnect, you can either contact Ubisoft's Technical Support and send them the log files, or wait for the patch that removes the online authentication.

So mine kept crashing before launch, this may not work for alot of you but dont install into program files folder, if you have another hard drive change directories altogether, I also found out that if you have any other ubisoft games the launcher may crash also. I learned that just doing this has may solve both of these issues. Oh, and all I had to do was cut and paste.

Ok i just bought this game for my kid to try his new gaming rig (way above recommended conf) and voila, after logo animation - from_dust.exe

Not sure about you guys but as i can see this is going for some time and i will ask for refund.

i start the launcher, get to the ubisoft logo and then the game shuts down and i get this error log:

I just bought this game last night, I played a demo on XBox Arcade, and it was amazing, but now I can't play it on my PC, I just threw $15.00 out the window, honestly I demand my money back, this is ridiculous, and should defiantly not be happening with a game like this. Everyone I know will hear about this, so have fun with no sales you rip-off company.

I have an AMD FX 6 core processor, 16 GB of RAM, 128GB OCZ-VERT SSD, 500GB Hybrid, WIN7 Pro SP1, nVidia GeForce GT 640 (2 GB) and I have updated everything you guys have and reinstalled the game after using Revouninstaller to start fresh and it doesn't help crash crash crash. I wish these folks would just give me my money and quit playing. The game is glitchy, needs to be pulled from the market everywhere, this is ridiculous, they waste more money putting man-hours into BS fixes than one can justify for the sales of this PC title...cut your losses...REFUND.

The problem ( I think ) for most people is the dynamic link library galileosimulatorwater.dll page faults every time. This has been going on for over a year so I don't think the company is going to do the honest thing and fix it. We'll all be a little bit wiser about being ripped off by Ubisoft in the future. Be sure to warn your friends as well.

This worked for me. Problem solved for Intel HD graphics card! Simply place into the ' From Dust' installation directory.
