I pre-purchased this and have been looking forward to it for three weeks and I'm really ****ed off once I've pressed play on the laugher it loads up the game and once it's loaded up the age rating logo it goes to show the ubisoft logo and after that brings up From_dust.exe has stopped working I'm really ****ed I've paid £11.99 for this game when I could have easily pirated it and I get a ****ty error hope ubisoft get there **** together and patch this bull**** within the next 24 hours :-(

On my pc it randomly crashes either on start or in the middle of a level which is pretty annoying.
Further the framerate is capped at 30 fps and there are no options for anti-aliasing, anistropic filtering or vsync. Further more the control settings is at default not really suitable for pc players. Fortunatley you can at least turn off auto mouse scrolling.
As much as I like the game and its idea by itself, the programming work is just poor. Seems they just wanted the console-version fast for pc, quality does not matter. Yet worse it's not just like any bad console-port with non-pc-like controls, no it just does not work correctly which makes me angry.

Right now I am considering this option although I'd like to see the end of the game. I hope Ubi is working hard on a good update.

Same problem here, have disabled firewall etc..
After the game start from the launcher it crashes right after the ubisoft intro.

I should have downloaded it from kickasstorrents instead of paying for it. I meet and exceed the minimum requirements in all but my CPU and the game should work. I will never purchase a game for download again. At least if I had gone to a pirate site I wouldn't feel so ripped off.
I just did what Ubi advises. Graphics and sound drivers have to be up-to-date.I just updatet my Realtek soundcard and my creative usb gaming headset. My Nvidia driver was up-to-date already (280.26).
And what can I say? The first thing From Dust does after rebooting is CRASHING even before intro. After 5 trys I got it to work. WTF is this bug?

From what I can gather is a majority of the cards out there are not supported. I came across this list yesterday.

Minimum graphics as is stated on the steam store page is a 8800 GT or a HD 3800. An onboard GPU is nothing compared to that espacially a six year old onboard gpu like a GeForce 6150.
Ok the progamming done here on this game is poor. But expecting any game to run on such a old crap graphics (yes even 6 years ago 6150 was crap) is just funny
so then, should we wait for them to fix it? Or should i get my 15 dollars back?
