I just installed From Dust and it crashes before it finishes loading... Help please. I have reinstalled and same problem.
I've gotten a crash every single time in the first lava level in story mode after a few minutes. I haven't been able to finish this level as of yet. My specs are well above minimum:
Intel Core2 Duo E8500 @ 3.16 GHz
nVidia GTX260 / 896 MB GDDR3
Windows 7 x32 Ultimate SP1
Were a lot of people with that problem it would seem. I made a ticket more than a day ago in the suppot with all the info but they have yet to reply to me. I hope this will be patched away soon.Originally posted by ntmgd0:
It crashs after clicking "play" from the loader for me.
Intel Graphics Card aren't suitable for this game. They told us a day after the game came out.
I got a response, stupid response, yet a response.
Check to make sure everything is updated BS... you know make sure your computer is turned on, lol.
From what I can gather is a majority of the cards out there are not supported. I came across this list yesterday.
*Supported Video Cards at Time of Release:
ATI RADEON HD 3000 / 4000 / 5000 / 6000 series
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 / 9 / 100 / 200 / 300 / 400 / 500 series
Laptop versions of these cards may work but are NOT supported. These chipsets are the only ones that will run this game.
Crossfire or SLI-equipped systems may run the game but are not supported. It is recommended to use a single card while playing From Dust.
But all the newest games support Intel cards, here i can play Battlefield 2 (Medium Quality) GTA IV (Medium Quality) The Sims 3 (Low Quality) and Team Fortress 2 (Medium Quality)
Doens't matter for me i just wanna play.
