So I'm sitting here as I watch Children of Men. It got me wondering if anyone else got choked up and teary eyed during the scene when Clive Owens and the girl walk out of the building with the baby and everyone stops fighting. I mean, it's not like anyone dies in that scene that the audience bonds with, yet I just can't help but have my eyes water.

Perhaps it was just a touching scene of there still being humanity in such a dismal dystopia...or perhaps I'm just a big sissy.

Anyways, are there any movies that gets any of you like this? (and if you say no, go watch Simon Birch).

That's a great scene Pino. I know it's totally girly but Bridges of Madison County..the scene where Streep is about to open the door of the car to run away with Clint Eastwood while both cars are at a stop light, her car behind his.

She hesitates and time runs out. Eastwood hangs her necklace on the rear view mirror so she can see and he drives away.

There are a million things going on beyond the scene that make me cry..but mostly remembering watching the movie the day my mom and sister came in my room in tears to tell me my grandma had died...I was already crying from the movie. Needless to say it was a depressing scene all around.

Big fish the end scene with the dad living out his wishes was another one.

There's really a bunch..I'm a huge movie person and really get into them so it doesn't take much more than great acting and a powerful scene.

I cry in most movies, I'm a boob. Even in movies I probably shouldnt cry in haha. Children of men is an awesome show

"The Power of One". Real sad but good movie. Especially when the kid's chicken gets killed by those stupid Nazi punks. I kinda feel my eyes get sort of watery during a lot of parts in that movie.

When I first watched Grave of the Fireflies I didn't get teary eyed...I actually sobbed. God that was a depressing movie. If you knew me in person I would probably strike you as the type who's not very sentimental but there are many other movies that make me teary eyed such as Up!, Gattaca, Forrest Gump....

I honest to god can't really think of any moments that get me like that. There were a buncha people around here who lost their **** over Dear Zachary. the real tragedy there is that it shows how easily to legal system can fail innocent people. and that its 100% true

I love "The Power of One". I was so inspired by that movie when I was younger that I moved to Africa for a year. I love the music from that movie, it's amazing.

edit * Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew makes me cry with almost every episode.
