I would have to say that the ACOG works best for the MTAR. For close range shots I aim right for the center of the crosshairs. Anything medium to long range aim a little bit higher than their head and your shot will be money. The first line below center is usually what I try to put right on their head, and it works really well for me. I'm sure lots of people will disagree saying there is no bullet drop off in this game, but you should try and see for yourself.

I hardly ever use the FAMAS so I have no input on that one.

I use the FAMAS quite a lot, and the scope seems to work for me. I must admit I have pretty bad eyes though!

I switch between the 6x scope and the 3x ACOG, depending on the map.

Also, be sure to try single shot mode! It changes the recoil behavior.

I still believe the SMG's are over powered in this game! but I can't get used to them...With that being said I only use the Tavor 21 W/ACOG, on full auto and learn to just bump the trigger for single fire,takes practice but can be done...Does'nt win every round against an SMG but very lethal.Only use the scope for across the map shot.

FAMAS with 6x and silencer works for me.

of course when i chose to go with an AR in this game i try to stay as hidden as possible, even in sharpshooter matches. so that means no 20+ kills but my deaths stay well below 10.

none of the AR's are useful when fully mobile so it takes a bit of getting used to finding good positioning and stalk opponents. the FAMAS is great for larger maps and for survival or other non-respawning modes. i NEVER bring an AR to any of the intense CQC maps like library or vault.

when shooting the FAMAS, i always try to pre-aim as best as possible from cover, and take quick shots in scope while still holding the L trigger. i've also noticed the scopes are highly inaccurate when in closer ranges then they are for the furthest distances in this game.

i find that it works best for me when i have the silencer equipped and double tap 2-3 shots on full auto for precise kills.

single shot firing does not work for me. i dont know why.

For me whenever I use the MTAR or G3 the only scope I use is the 6x. Thats only because for any shot at close to medium range I don't have to scope at all. So.. I find the laser sight reflex and iron sights uselss. But thats just me.
