I was fooling around with Dojomann today, and I wanted to test what made noise and what didn't. Surprisingly, a crouched landing DOES NOT make any noise on the merc hud. I repeat, if you jump and land crouched, or fall off even a high ledge and land crouched, it WILL NOT make a sound on the merc hud. The only time you'll make a sound is if the ledge is really low, and it makes you stand up for a split second (hence you are technically landing standing up).

What about if you roll down the ledge, do you make sound? Looking mainly for those really low ledges that you mentioned.
Agreed, tested this myself to be sure. Don't know how or why he got this impression, or why he'd go through with making a bug report about it when it's obviously not the case, but so be it.
Ok, bad news guys...
Turns out that ONLY the host can land silently without having to roll or turn immediately. Everyone else makes noise when they land crouched. Another bug to report...
