Does a snorkel work after the patch? | Forums

I played an unpatched campaign a while ago, and i could not buy or use the snorkel on the IXb sub. Is that fixed in 1.4b? I keep seeing people talk about the snorkel mod. What's that one do?

I believe the snorkel mod you are talking about is called the sensor mod. I think it fixes the radar profile of the snorkel, in stock game the snorkel has a radar profile as large as the boat.

I am STILL looking for that particular mod...the sensor mod. I've been told its called the SensorPak, others have said its the Sensor mod....and I have been given dozens of leads on where to look, but none have panned out....including reference to a file on this forum, but I have yet to find that reference. I am relatively new to this forum, so my area of knowledge on where to look and what to look for is very limited.

What I am asking for is a hard, concrete file name of this particular mod, and a hard, concrete URL where it is definately located. If it is part of another mod, then I would like the name (and URL) of that mod. I am at wits end trying to find this mod...my career is nearly at the point where I can acquire the snorkel, and I would rather have use of the snorkel without it giving out a radar signature as big as the boat itself...

Please, if anyone can help, I am sure there are others, besides myself, who would greatly appreciate it....

Took me a while to find this but I finally did. This includes the snorkel fix and also a couple other things.

Perhaps the powers-that-be on this forum could post that link as a sticky, so everyone could have access to it.....

At least that would prevent others from having to continually ask about it....
