For 4 days of training with SO19 and the Cambridgeshire Armed Police... I will be using unfamiliar weaponary- so no G36s, MSG90s or P2000s. Wish me luck... I have only ever previously touched a bullpup a few years back (the Steyr AUG A1 20"), and that was for a one day experience. Hopefully 4 days with SO19 and Cambridgeshire Police will change my perceptions on weapons that are not H&K- namely, the Steyr AUG A2, which I will be using primarily.

Welcome to britain, say hello to the many bone idle asylum seekers that sponge of the state and receive free benefits ,whilst our brave war pensioners freeze because they can't afford the heating bills on there **** pensions, wave hello to the drunken bums swearing at you as they stagger out of the pubs at 3'oclock in the afternoon,Laugh as you go 1 mile over the limit as the MANY,MANY speed cameras and motorist hating police catch you with their little cameras and do little about REAL crime.
Almost gag... when the goverment has plans for everyone to work until they are 70 years old(so blair and his cronies wont have to pay anyone a state pension)But who lives to 70 anyway these days?
Say something about a terrorist here!! oh no the human rights will have you,as well as greedy lawyers shouting the word "racist"
    Welcome to britain

Well... My plane leaves in an hour.

I am sure Britain wont surprise me too much, as I lived there for 19 years. Also, I regularly visit the BBC news website to keep up with their current affairs.

I am back!!! I ended up staying in the Crowne Plaza in Cambridge for 3 nights, and only trained with Cambridge SFU and not SO19. The "training" was little more than a history of the CAM Special Firearms Unit, a lot of firing of the semi-automatic police varient AUG A2 "stabber", and some nice friendly chats about my work in München.
