Thread: Primary Objectives - We Need Manual Override Button | Forums

  1. #1
In SH3, I cannot tell you how many times my entry into my assigned search grid failed to trigger the Completion of a Primary Objective. I tried sailing back and forth across the border lines of my assigned search grid. Nothing would get the game to recognize that I had compleated one of the Primary objectives. This was extremely infuriating, especially if I had been required to sail to the very edge ot the Earth to reach the Grid. Please include manual override buttons for the player to use to trigger the completion of Primary Objectives in the event the game fails to notice.

Primary obectives that depend on a certain amount of time passing should have a countdown timer that is visibe to the player. The player should not have to keep track with pencil and paper next to his computer

Yes, please give us override buttons for everything that doesn't work! Don't fix the actual problem, give us override buttons! For example, if you forget to implement destruction due to exceeded max depth, give us a button!

Instead of overrides, they could make mission objectives more clearly defined and more easier to accomplish. At least explain in the manual you must stay a certain amount of time or distance from the target, etc.

Override buttons are like a cheat. Maybe throw that into a console feature just in case you get stuck.
