Heroes V WAY too laggy to play multiplayer w/ ppl | Forums

So I'm doing my 1st heroes toh game right now against another person, and I think it might be my last. They're side seems lag free, but the laggy choppyness is just driving me crazy. Not even fun. Anyone know of any solutions to this such as opening ports in the firewall or somthing? Cause I'm at a lose cause I know it isn't my cpu specs.
