Ive been playing the sh series for years and i was pleasantly surprised when i encountered an enemy submarine, which i haven't seen before. I fired a volley of torpedoes fearing it would submerge if i engaged with my deck gun. The torpedoes missed completely because i suck at manual firing. Then he spotted the trails or me and submerged to 50 or 60 meters and i followed him in external view until my ship was right in front of it at the same depth. The enemy sub then fired a volley of its own at me but at a rather deep point, and they were very slow torpedoes and he missed completely. I then fired two more torpedoes at it which landed dead on except he was like 200m away and they didn't arm in time and at this point we were both at periscope depth. I then chased him for a while and then he decided to surface for some reason, maybe for some air or low batterys. Then i had my deck gun fire at it and a few shots later it sank to the bottom. It must have been too few tons because it never showed up as a ship sunk. Nonetheless it was interesting to see it attack me with torpedoes, perhaps if i was surfaced he could have hit me. Unfortunately i could not figure out how to take a screen shot otherwise it would have been cool.
