Thread: A request to Ubisoft | Forums

When Ubisoft released The Sands Of Time they were kind enough to also put Prince OF Persia 1 and Prince Of Persia 2 Shadow And The Flame. However only the Xbox version got both POP 1 and POP 2 while every other version only got POP 1.I had never heard of the original POP trilogy and after playing the first on SOT I wanted to play the next two but couldn't.

Unfortunately they never put POP 2 on any of the other versions of the sequels to follow.Recently the Wii version for TFS got POP 1 as a bonus but nothing for the HD versions.I don't get it,does Microsoft have some kind of exclusivity deal for Shadow and The Flame?I am requesting that Ubisoft port the original trilogy(no HD remakes) to PSN,Wiiware and XBLA.There's no reason not to expose more people to the original trilogy,it's classic 2D platforming at it's best.
Please bring back Prince Of Persia Kindred Blades

Why did 2 people vote against it?What would be bad about more people being able to play the original trilogy? How is that wrong?

..what exactly do you hope to accomplish with this poll that you're so desperate for votes? It's not binding, Ubi isn't required to act on it. Plus you put the option for a No then you criticize people for it?

From Ubi's point of view, they don't really benefit from porting Mechner's old games to next gen. They had nothing to do with them, but they're still expected to bear the cost and burden of porting games they didn't make? Prince of Persia Classic I can understand, since Ubi did the facelift for that. But I have no idea how much money they made on that game. I don't know what the return-on-investment is for downloaded games versus new ones.

I don't really care about the original trilogy that much, but that's just my opinion.

Ubisoft should care about the Original Triology as well because you never know what holds for future. And I am assuming that they haven't forgotten the original POP Games. They do give its touches time to time.

@dman1988! Dont get worried for the less votes. Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion.
