they use the same sound processor, so I would say no. I think they have better connections and a lower noise floor.
they do have a new XiFi card coming soon that will be the mutts nuts though.

IIRC, the difference from the 2 to 2 ZS is 6.1 to 7.1, and having a dts decoder on top of the dolby decoder. If you have a 5.1 setup, it's exactly the same to you, and if you play dvds using windvd, powerdvd or similir, you'll still have software dts decoding for their play. Don't take me too serious on dts, because as I said, I don't remember the specs correctly now, but anyway, performance and soundwise up to 6.1 they are the same card for a gamer.
For audiophile stuff, I'd rather go with a much more proven Via Envy professional based card, altough they completely lack on performance for games.
