So far there's been nothing to suggest there will be a beta.
MAybe not public beta testers, but I'd certainly like a demo.
IMHO a demo would be a great idea, probably the best publicity Haze could get. Haze has already made a presence for itself on the PS Store and with the current paucity of content a demo could really make it stand out and sell it to the PS3-owning public. A demo could also go out on the PS magazine for the non-PSN linked. Despite not having Halo 3 out there, there's still Unreal 3 and CoD4 to compete with, to mention just the real heavy-weights. Any edge would be a great bonus. Being able to play the game itself is always the best way IMO.
Meh, on PC, a demo would be an assured thing. Try before you buy without renting.
