When I started my first mish I equiped my sub with the dual aa guns. Seems like a smart idea right? Well no its not. For somereason there is a nasty blind spot when you turn gun to starboard you cant see where you aiming all you see is side of ship and not the side you are aiming towards the camer pans back and blocks your view...please fix this please.

I noticed that with my Tambor class sub, that the blind spot for my single AA battery is simply awful. I'm hoping that upgrades along the way will change this, but yes I agree that they need to fix these issues with the AA batteries.

Yep its that way for most classes early on. With AA guns, I couldn't hit a carrier if I was 50 yards away, so I let the crew man it anyway. They do pretty well. Later on in the campaign the conning towers lose a lot of that siding and become more reduced, for the dual purpose of more AA mounts and less underwater drag.
At the same time, when your crewmen are manning it and are turned where you would have a blindspot, you can see that they stick through the side of the conning tower if you are in the external view. Looks rather ridiculous. Seems like something that could easily be fixed... just raise the camera's Z axis anchor for that view. Maybe it can be modded.

i have to admit looking at it now it is not a major bug but it did suck when thr jap pilot came in from that side and bombed my butt lol.. Lost some good crewmen that day....

Yes I got shot up real bad due to this 'blind spot' its a bit annoying to say the least.
The solution though is to 'man the AA guns' and the crewman shoots the planes down for you, he's quite acurate too !
