Thread: TC bug still exists? | Forums

I'm running 1.5v using TMOtw. I have the TC over 7 when moving around. Would that explain why I haven't seen many merchants in early 42? I've been all over the area looking. Should I start from an earlier saved game and avoid putting the TC about 2500?

    Cheers,

That's TMO. It changes the incident of merchants to historically realistic levels.
The're in their bars, drinking, celebrating our sinking! Not yet my friends, not yet!

    TMO as well.

I sailed all over the south Pacific in the spring and summer of 1942 after completing the required patrols without seeing anything besides warships patrolling some of the ports and straits. Then I realized that I should head to Brisbane and end the mission and start another.

It's October of '42 now and I'm cruising the Slot and finding plenty of action.

If you've grayed your map stars, move on to the next adventure that awaits.

Actually, I've experienced the same thing in RFB. TC has little to do with it. It's the timeframe. Don't worry, it'll pick up in 43.

It's quite easy to miss targets while time compressing. Unless I'm transitting in freindly waters, I never go more than 512 TC. the faintest twitch can tell you somethings out there and if you're compressing to fast you might not be able to stop it before it's out of sensor range. Since I've gone to the 512 TC while hunting, I've picked up alot more targets. Just remember that you can't take your eyes off that watch to pick up the "TC Twitch". Good luck, and Happy hunting!
