    Set waypoints so that the fighter group intersect the aircraft they're to protect. Test fly the mission to make sure the fighters can see the bombers (ie: the bombers are in front of the fighters) at the join up waypoint.

    Releod the mission in FMB, find the fighter's join up waypoint and select it. Open the "View/Object" box and select the waypoint tab. Click the "Set" button then click the bomber waypoint. This should result in a green line joining the fighter and bomber waypoints. The fighters will now escort until they reach their next waypoint. Repeat the Set process for each leg of the mission where you wish them to continue escorting.
