    Hey ya guys, im testing something that is working like a charm to come arround the problem with the joystick conf:
    is a program called CONTROLMK,what does this little freebie software does?
    simply its translates your joysticks imputs to keystrokes , so in this case it tells our game that we´re using the keyboard
    all you have to do is asing the joystick funcion to a key:

    joy button 0---->spacebar (primary fire)

    and so on!!!
    so all you need to do is leave the program open while you play an that it!!!
    you can dowload it from ---->here!

    also you can save the profile,i got mine,later on i will upload it for you guys

    Your post is similar to my earlier post about those owners of Thrustmaster Top Gun Fox Pro 2 Joysticks. Thrustmaster supplies a software download that allows you to reconfigure your games keyboard keys to joystick control. This software is called ( Thrustmapper 4.02 ) and I've been enjoying the use of my joystick ever since. You have to read the instuctions though and direct the software to look at the BA's settings exe. file. Once this is done, you can set the BA's keyboard strokes to your joystick settings. IE: Fire button #1 to trigger, secondary fire button to #2 button, etc. It is possible but I believe everyone has lost interest by now. Maybe the Forum Directors will pick up your solution and those that own Thrustmaster will see mine. One final note with whatever software you use, ( YOU MUST SAVE YOUR SETTINGS SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS OVER AGAIN )! It will retain them.

    wow FINALLY!!!!!!
    Yep!!!! This works 100%!!!I set mine to match default 2 settings...ie: mouse settings...
    godda change a few things like repeat on throttle to maximum...otherwise u'll be too slow to do repair commands.
    also doesn't pick up insert, delete, page up or page down....so change those to match default 1 inside BA....then voila!!!! Its great to have a sensitive stick....u can ace it all the way....still wonder how ubi could've cocked this one up....but still its a great game !!!! I'll probalby even buy BA 2 I'm enjoying this so much!!!

    They are right, it does seem to work. Works with my old MS sidewinder 3d Pro Plus stick. It's a little tricky to setup.

    I'm glad the problems and misunderstandings were solved.

    And it only took 18 months for "some one" to find a fix. Maybe Ubisoft should hire the guy who made "controlMK" before they release BA 2

    Do you map Y axis and X axis to mouse movements in order to get a nice and smooth / precision joystick control ?
