  1. #1
I don't have the game yet but I would like to know if Advanced Indirect Lighting is in retail copy of FC2. Here are screenshots comparing with and without AIL: http://forums.prophecy.co.za/553662-post10.html

I looked at this same site and wondered the same thing. I have the game for XBOX 360, and I would say that yes, it is dynamic.

The PC version of Far Cry 2 supports full Advanced Indirect Lightning (I got the PC version, which somehow does not like SLI and the 180.43 driver => Crash)

Not sure about the consoles though, since this is a High End feature.
They might only use Indirect Lightning (which basicly means that light casts light on other surfaces, but not colors)

    Ehm, yea, gimmie a minute

EDIT: Well, haha, I tried... I'm right at the start of the game and just finished my first mission, my car is so dirty that it doesn't reflect anyting because it is so dirty...

Maybe someone else can give a pic?
I'm pretty sure that Advanced Indirect Lightning is on, you notice it slightly because there is a lot between Light and darkness, not like Doom 3 xD
    So yea, surfaces cast light

I have been testing the PC version and it seems to me you have to have shadows and ambient lighting on very high or ultra high to see this.
