Thread: My opinion About splinter cell future... | Forums

i dont know why you guys are do worried about SCC. ubi keeps saying that this game is about "Sam proving his inocence". Ok so if that is true i think that this game is just about getting some new splinter cell players. and i think for the sequel to conviction they will probally go back to light and shadow gameplay.

just think about it...if he's proving his innocence then wouldn't he be back to normal after this game...i mean he wont be a convict anymore right?

    Post you opinions...
Here we go for the Hundrenth time.

I hope in the sequel to SCC, they have different kinds of stealth aspects along with L&S and not L&S alone. Maybe crowd stealth wont be necessary in the sequel if he is back to doing his original missions. But please put in a bit of camo stealth. IMO camo rocks!

The conclusion of SCC will determine what will happen next in the series. I hope so.

That's a good point, but as I have said before, Ubisoft isn't going to let storyline get in the way of gameplay. They didn't decide to make Sam a convict, then choose a gameplay style that suited that better. I like the theory of Ubi trying to get new SC players and then returning to L&S, but I can't help but be a little sceptical and pessimistic. I just can't see Ubi making a drastic change for only one game, especially when it's Montreal developing the game.

A simple plot twist could easily change everything, look at the whole "Sarah dies" thing. Maybe 3E gets taken over by someone who decides that what Sam did in Conviction was more effective than classic catsuit style, and so everything is made to be done that way. It wouldn't take much effort to turn the series in that sort of direction.

To me... the series is beyond repair now. For it, to revert to what i like, SC C would have to make a huge storyline twist again i guess.

For videogame military sneaking gameplay i will goto MGS4.

If the game flops, I believe there is a good chance of returning to L&S. It wouldn't be a particularly ground-breaking plot twist, simply that Sam returns to 3E. Here's hoping.
