Well, I just lost my 360 and a few weeks ago, my cable modem died out on me. It seems these little guys are everywhere.

Wow Valkyrie. I don't know what else to say, other then that really sucks. I'm glad to hear you're surviving this string of bad luck.

ISP's and their equipment can be such a pain. DVR's are something I've never really gotten into (mostly because, of Media PCs) and I'm sorry to hear your one PC is being a pain. Not to mention your 360?! Well I'm almost afraid to ask, how it's eating your discs (scratching or cracking them, which can be caused by the DVD case itself).

Hopefully things start going better soon.

Ouch, I really feel for you. As you know, I recently had a rash of bad luck. Fortunately, my 360 is fine - knock on wood. Although I am staring at my Linksys router rather nervously now - I've never had any problem with it, but after hearing the stories about it, maybe I'm just lucky.

Usually they are pretty good (The newer models anyways). Between, home, my mini office and a few other places. They have been, what I usually use. I've never been a big fan of D-Link products personally. Just keep the firmware up-to-date and I'm sure it'll be fine.

For Val to have that many hardware issues. You'd almost wonder, if something else (at her place) is creating the problem.
