all i got was a dark green screen and i had pretty much given up on playing this game, but i downloaded this: scroll to the bottom for download now game runs great. it should work for most laptops with an nvidia card. for all laptop users with a card thats not nvidia...you can play bia, just find the appropriate download.

Hi i had the same error.... I too have a laptop and my graphics card is a GeForce4 440 Go 64 mb....I downloaded that fix and now i get this error when starting it:

Build: (null)

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD Unknown processor @ 1987 MHz [974593916928.000000 0] with 510MB RAM
Video: GeForce4 440 Go 64M (7610)

General protection fault!

yea could be cos you have a different card than i do, but i had some problems. after using it for a while the screen would go black and it said error with nvidia driver, so i uninstalled it. i found a more current driver on the dell website and it worked great.
