    Mission Editor Walkthru v1.1

1- Creating a basic Single Player Mission.

For the next step you actualy need to create a folder in your "<span class="ev_code_RED">SingleMissions</span>" folder. Go to the folder of Silent Hunter. In there you will see a folder named "<span class="ev_code_RED">Data</span>". Open it and now you need to search for a folder called "<span class="ev_code_RED">SingleMissions</span>". Once you have opend this folder. Right click your mouse button and a options menu will open. When you have opend this options menu select "<span class="ev_code_RED">New</span>". You can now select what you want to create. We need a folder to save our game in so you select "<span class="ev_code_RED">Folder</span>". Now you will see a new map icon appear. Since i want to name my game "Intersept Japanese Landing Forces" that's what i am going to call the new folder.

Very informative, Whisperer. I've learned a couple of things I didn't know before, thank you.

I'm glad you aprove of it, i've created this walkthru for the people who are having trouble getting their missions to launch or even create. Since the link on the sticky went down, i thought this might be helpfull to all those new to the game.

Hopefully this will be of some future help to all of those new to the game since i started making this "edditor walkthru" at 8 pm and it took me well past 5 am to get this posted.

Can't take credit for it thou, since i had to use several sites as reference for the saving part since that's where i found that i was goofin up...

But none the less, let me aprove of my post as wel!

This is excellent work Whisperer, you have clearly put a lot of effort and time into this, and I commend you for it and also for sharing it with the community here

It makes me remember the missions I used to make for SH3, I really ought to have a go at doing some for SH4!

    Great job Whisperer!

    Let me make two suggestions:
    1. Send a PM to VikingGrandad and ask that he add a link to this fine piece of work in the Mods, Tools, Tips thread.
    2. Put a link to this post in your signature.

    Really, great job!

I've added a link to this thread for you as dgrayson suggested Whisperer, seeing as I happen to be 'in' at the moment

Should you need any help putting a link in your sig let a Moderator know as it can be a bit temperamental.

Go to your personal profile and paste the following line after your sig picture.

( In order for you to "see" it, I had to remove the opening <span class="ev_code_YELLOW">[</span> add that to the line so that it starts <span class="ev_code_YELLOW">Mission Editor Walk Through </span>
