Installed Patch 1.2 - Game won't start up | Forums

Hi there,

I've installed patch 1.2 on my pc and now, when I've loaded my last "saving point" to continue the game in the Single Player Mode(at that time you could see the red bar moving towards it's end - as usual), then I suddenly come into Windows (XP) again. Be advised; I have a ATI Radion 9800 Pro video card (128 mb) and the latest videodrivers installed.

Can anyone please help me out here?

My only advise is to remove 1.2 and bin it, It causes more problems than enouth..

I sure hope someone here can help you fix it without removing 1.2...

Thanks for your advise. I think that is just what I'll do, considering the fact that almost everyone is having the same problem as I have who installed 1.2!

It's a comforting thought and eases the pain a little bit that we can all share the very same problem with each other ;-)

Just start the game over with a new profile you can't continue where you left off before the 1.2 upgrade. I had the same problem it went away when I started the game over.

Too bad that one can only solve the prloblem by starting the game all over; I'm not amused - no offense!

But now that you did, was it worth it doing so for the SinglePlayer mode?
