This is annoying, i have a P4/800MHZ with double-channel memory and a RADEON 9800 PRO yet i can't set that darn thing to 32-bit, GR won't let me. I can only choose between 16-bit and 24-bit. But if i isntall the Rage 3D teak for my RADEON then the game allows me to change that though, what should i do to set to 32-bit without relying on that tweak software?

It sounds like you're referring to Z-buffer depth. In which case I'd say what is a 32-bit z-buffer going to do for you? As far as color depth, I use a 9500Pro with a highly overclocked XP2100+ and I don't see any improvment in GR with 32-bit color depth.

    I recommend a 24-bit z-buffer and running at 16-bit color depth.

    indeed, what's the point on running 32-bits z-buffer ?
you gain more FPS on lower bits hehe
and there is in-game gamma control when your screen it too dark ...
the graphics are very nice on default settings
i'm using default settings with my amdxp 2100+ 256 ddr and my 2nd hands GF4 TI 4400
