hi guys .. sorry if this has been driven into the ground, but why exactly is the graphics setup in multiplayer so entirely different than that of the single player mode?
i max my (don't laugh .. this card is a workhorse and can run ANY current game at max) 128mb radeon 9000pro for single player (1024x768, high graphics settings as well) and everything is fine .. no choppiniess whatsoever and all is cool ..
yet when i load multiplayer, i am greeted with the worst choppiness i have ever seen .. and i have to change my resolution to anything else but the current one, and then i have to change it back to 1024x768 for it to all stop .. and the weird thing is, if i try to go lower than 1024x768 it is utter HELL and it might as well be freezing ..
so does anyone out there have any idea why this is happening? it can't be my system (2.4 p4, 512mb ram) can it?
thanks in advance for your help.

Only suggestion is to make sure AA and AF for direct 3d are set to "application preference" if you are using catalyst 4.7. If it's older or some other driver, there might be an off setting, but I haven't seen that even with 3.4 which came with my card. In single player, AA makes sam glow, but since people could just glitch in multiplayer they made the game run choppy as hell. That's right, Ubi did something smart for a change.
Remember, I'M the master of WAR!
