One thing, I have Quad speaker setup and only get ingame sound on the front speakers, none on the rear. Tested with IL2:FB, H&D 2 and they all work fine as well as regular mp3, wav music files.

    My specs:

    P4 2.4c
    ASUS P4C800-E
    1Gb Corsair XMS TWINX - 1024 PC3700
    ATI Radeon 9700 PRO 128
Sound Max Onboard Sound (Quad Speaker setup)
    WinXP Pro SP1
    Dx9.0a
    1600x1200 32bit resolution

    Your help is appreciated!

I have a 5.1 sound card and logitech Z640 speakers also 5.1 and it sounds great on my system. Is your sound card capable of handling Quad sound?

At least you get sound! All I get to hear is the sweet sound of my computer fan.

    Hello Iceman,

I have Sound Max Onboard Sound (Quad Speaker setup) and it is setup and tested to work on quad speakers. Every other game I own works 100% except for Lock-ON. I am trying to read the complete manual and the readme file to see if I can see anywhere that talks about sound setup on multiple speaker systems.
